6 tbsp cooking oil
150 g onions
2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
2 black cardamon
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp cumin
5-6 cloves
1 inch of cinnamon stick
2 tbsp salt or to taste
1 tsp red chilli
2 bay leaves
200 g tomatoes

150 g carrots
150 g peas
250 g potatoes
3 green chilies
1 liter water
500 g soaked basmati rice

6 EL Speiseöl
150 g Zwiebel
2 EL Ingwer-Knoblauch Paste
2 schwarze Kardamon
1 TL schwarze Pfefferkörner
1 TL Kümmel
5-6 Nelken
1 inch großes Zimtstück
2 EL Salz oder nach Geschmack
1 TL roter Chilipulver
2 Lorbeerblätter
200 g Tomaten

150 g Karotten
150 g Erbsen
250 g Kartoffel
3 grüne Chilies
1 Liter Wasser
500 g (vorher eingeweichter) Basmati Reis

Rice Dishes with vegetable, meat and chickpeas

Rice with chickpeas, rice with vegetables, rice with meat or just simple boiled rice – the food, who is known from the Asian cuisine is delicious and fills you up. First domesticated in the region of the Yangtze River valley in China it is today a yummy food in almost every country. Pulao – rice with typical brown colour

Pulao is recognized by the brown colour that comes from the fried onions cooked in ghee or oil. Matar Pulao, Aloo Pulao or Chana Pulao are the common veggie rice dishes. With meat it becomes a favourite dish for guests. So, Mutton Pulao, Chicken Pulao, Murgh Pulao or Beef Pulao could be also your first dish selection to serve your special guests at home. Invented for soldiers according to legend it reached every kitchen in South East Asia and is known worldwide thanks to the many Indian-Pakistani restaurants around the globe who have Chicken Biryani, Mutton Biryani, Lamb Biryani or Seafood Biryani on their menu. A dish that is more popular than Biryani in western countries is boiled rice with chicken curry. Last but not least, think of Kidschri, rice with lentils, that is consumed as light food.
